contrast and compare: democracy?

Remember those papers in high school where you were told to "contrast and compare" two different things? The Daily Show does a little "contrast and compare" on the British versus the American style of "town hall meetings." Man, is sure feels good to live in a staged democracy! Also, you can watch Samantha Bee (of the Daily Show, of course) interview Frank Luntz and make her own Town Hall meeting in an amazing clip a few weeks ago here.

UPDATE: You can watch the full clip (with some before and after the shorter version I posted) here.

Blair also did a question and answer with a lot of women that turned into more of an accusing and shouting match. All in all, he has done a lot of shows where all he gets is attacked and criticised, so I am somewhat surprised that he is still favoured to win, especially with British media turning these Blair bashings into a prime telly event.

Actually, both my boyfriend and my friend believe that Britain needs another Thatcher to take control. And they are both bio majors, so maybe that has something to do with it.
