What's goings on, you ask? Well, everyone's back and writing.Chimaobi's discussing the death penalty and why race still matters on a local, national and international scale, Katie wonders about toilet paper and the deeper implications of even the mundane choices we make, Deb notes McDonald's strange appeal to Asian-Americans and anti-Asian racist humor, and there's still a little discussion of my post about blogs and traditional "hard news" (check out the official response from Team Zebra!). Phew, lot's of reading! But what the heck, it's that or write a paper!

I should clarify that only our intern, Ryan Petersen, can post official Team Zebra statements. The comment I posted below represented only myself and a few other members of the Team.
We were unable to muster an official statement, as one of our members is currently backpacking through northern India.
What I want to know is why Gline and Golis haven't responded to your and the other TZ members' official response. Especially since Golis advertised your response in this post!
It's unclear to me what exactly I'm supposed to respond to. I don't think Mr. Schmidt really disagreed so much as clarified and explain his understanding of Team Zebra's role...
