Of course, one could replce "Attending BC," with "Writes for the Indy." But that just would be too obvious, and not nearly as inclusive.

While I agree that members of the Harvard Republican Club can certainly be symbols of toolishness, it is unfortunately toolish to spell "lanyard" incorrectly in a published piece.....
